Website Design

The internet has always interested me, from the early days of bulletin boards and Compuserve. As a software developer, learning HTML and other web technologies seemed a logical step. The wealth of information now readily available online, makes learning different technologies, as a hobby, so much easier.

After acquiring a property to run as a holiday rental, it gave me the opportunity to design a suitable website. This website is now a well-established 96 page, multilingual site, with facilities for bookings and receipts coded in PHP.

I have subsequently designed a second rental website and a couple of additional sites for small businesses. Working on these websites remains a spare time activity and not something I have ever considered doing on a professional level.
